Hi all, My husband and I are going to langkawi in mid July. Due to the late flight to penang, we are going to stay overnite in the airport as wanna to save money on the subcharge of the transportation in taxi in penang. I would have the following qns : Is there any free wifi in the airport? I would like to know the currency exchange rate of 1USD to how much malaysia money in the airport? and the currency exchange rate of HKD to how much malaysia money in the airport? We would spend 3D2N in langkawi and one nite in penang after back from langkawi.We already paid the hotel fee in both langkawi and penang. Now we are calculating the expense on the trip. We will need to pay around 150 RM on the car rental in langkawi. So how much money we need to pay in the trip? Moreover, please suggest some good food area in penang near the hotel mingood as we will stay a nite in penang after back from langkawi thx

thx for ur information however, when i search on penang international airport in last two days saying that penang airport is under reconstruction or upgrade and its out of power on one day morning. some travellers said its mess in the airport, isnt it? So is it possible to stay overnite in the airport before we head to langkawi? thx

the blackout was unexpected and unforeseen. the departure hall on 1st floor is not in order due to upgrading works going on. the arrival hall at ground floor is ok.

so there is no place for us to stay overnite there or we can still find some place in the airport to stay overnite? as u said the departure floor is not available that means the only area i can stay is in the arrival floor , rite? is there any seats in both arrival and departure floors that we can take a seat for a nite before checking in ? thx

there are chairs at arrival floor or mcdonald restaurant on departure floor.
