Recommendations for nice stop over hotel/b&b?

Hi there, we are travelling back from the Dordogne to Roscoff and we could like somewhere to stop over about half way as we are travelling with our 10 month old baby. I know there are plenty of hotels about, but we were looking for something a little special, a hidden gem maybe? And thought you lovely people may have some suggestions? We don't mind going a little out of our way either, I was looking at the areas around Nantes, Angers, La Roch Sur Yon etc etc but not in built up town somewhere quiet, with a restaurant too. Hope you can help! Leah
