Cycling in the Loire Valley

Next week, I plan to visit the Loire valley (departing form Paris) and would like to rent a bicycle upon arrival in Pays de la Loire. Some questions: 1. I will have a rail pass. What is the best rail destination city in the Loire Valley? 2. How difficult will it be to rent a bicycle in at the destination? 3.. Are there any recommended cycling routes of 50-70 km or so?
