I am having great difficulty booking a room in the Hotel Bristol, 3 rue Gambetta, 64000, Pau, France. Can you please help

Well, here's the website with email, phone number etc: http://www.hotelbristol-pau.com/ It is listed on www.venere.com (a reliable site): http://www.venere.com/france/pau/ but has no online booking available. So I suggest you email them directly (if you have not done so) or phone them if you have.

Were you trying to book through VT? Vt is not a booking agency, it is a site where travellers share information and experiences. If the hotel is not listed on VT's booking-site-links then it will not show up when you 'check rates'.
