what is the best location?

Talking about party. We are gonna spend only one night (passing trough) in Pattaya. Not even a whole nigth, as we´ll arrive after midnigth, so I would like to get some hotel rigth in the middle of the action, so we can check it, and grab a beer 30 minutes later and go strait to sleep whitout long walks or taxis. What area is the best? North, central, south? Any suggestion about the accomodation?
