I am visiting Greece for the first time this summer and will be staying in Selianitika, a small village in Seliana near Sympoliteia. I would like to take the ferry from Patra to Kefalonia but don't know if there is a bus that has stops near Seliana that I can take to Patra to catch the ferry. Does anyone have info on the bus lines in that area? Maybe one that starts in Athens that I can pick up near Seliana. I visited ktel.org but it's all in Greek and was useless to me. HELP PLEASE & THANK YOU =]
From a map, I found out that your village is near to Egio. From Egio to Patras, there are very frequent busses: achaiaktel.gr/?module=defaul... unfortunately, this is only in Greek, but the first tabel is Patras-Egio, and the second one Egio-Patras. It also says, that the busses with * at the time, run on the highway. the words in the blue boxes, give the days of the week, starting at Monday. If you have more questions, please ask !! maría

I can't answer about the train but I can tell you that the Patras>Athens bus is faster and cheaper. If you're coming... more
