Pasadena, CA: Need Suggestions for a surprise Birthday dinner

by SecretBirthday Online Now Nov 14, 2006 at 1:25 PM

My girlfriend's 30th birthday is coming up, and me and her friends want to throw a surprise birthday party at a nice restaurant.

There's going to be about 20 people and we want it to be around20-30 per person, and the restaurant should be pretty classy.

We were thinking of Houston's restaurant, but they wouldn't take reservations for more than 5 people.

Any suggestions?

There is always the Parkway Grill, but it tends to be an older crowd.
For a interesting menu that is excellent try Xiomara. They have a website if you do a google search.

That's a tad optimistic. A decent dinner in Pasadena ( meal + tax + tip ) is easily 20 to 30 dollars. Classy costs more.
Sorry, but if it were my girlfriend, I'd bite the bullet and increase the budget to at least 40 apiece.

Thanks guys, I found a restaurant.

It will be Mi Piace the italian restaurant.

Yeah since a bunch of different kinds of people are going I did not want it to be too big a hit on everyone's wallet. But Mi Piace sounds like a good choice!
