Hello, I'm planning to go to Quebec this summer with my friends, for 2 weeks. Could you recommend some place to visit? It will be also nice if you recommend some cheap and delicious restaurants, too.
My Friend and I are driving from Vancouver to Jasper on the first day of our trip. Arrival time to Jasper will be late in the evening. Do we need to buy the pass when we arrive or can we wait till the morning to purchase the park pass?
Thanks
I will soon be living in Hamilton. Can someone please help me on this : is it safe to drive at night passing through King street to McMaster university? And how bad the traffic during daytime (same routine).
Many thanks!!!!
I'm thinking of driving up to Montreal for a few days with my 17 year old son. I'm looking for suggestions on where to stay and what to see. My budget is very tight, so I need to make this as cheap as possible.
We're thinking of taking a trip to Montreal during the first week of September. We'll be flying in and won't have a car. Unfortunately, our ability to navigate steps, hills, and long walks will be somewhat limited. Do you have any suggestions about where to stay (up to $225 per night), as well as what attractions to see, including organized city and water tours?
Doc
We will be arriving on Oct by cruise ship. Since it is a Sunday all the car rental agencies are closed. I have contacted several tour guides but they are booked. Would love some ideas on how to get around and spend time from 8AM to 6PM. We would love to see Gros Morne but the cruise ship charges $179pp.
What is a good restaurant in Old Montreal ?
I am looking for a school that teaches intensive French programs in Quebec, Canada, preferably one which would permit me to stay for at least 14 weeks.
We have some time off at the end of September and are considering renting an RV and driving around Newfoundland. I did a quick check and many sites seem to close around mid-September. Is the end of September a good time to visit or should we wait until next year? We've never been to Newfoundland so we want to make the most of this first visit!
Would be grateful for any good bar/club recommendations for the York area of Toronto. I'm Working at the rexall centre in August and will be finishing pretty late so looking for places to grab a drink on the way back to the hotel.
Thanks
Hey everyone - flying into Vancouver in a few weeks time just for a two week trip and just wondering if anyone any local knowledge or experience about the best way to travel to Fernie from there, preferably via Banff. I have looked at the bus, train and renting a car, and renting a car is looking like the best option. Thanks :)
I am interested in travelling to winnipeg for school, specifically u of m, and have never been there before. I would also be travelling alone. I would like to know from other travellers their perspective on the crime problem in winnipeg? how bad is it?
Me and my friends are planning a four day road trip to New Brunswick from Montreal.
This will be our first visit to the province. We were wondering what city(ies) should we visit. (We are not planning to party late night, outdoor activities will be our preference).
Given that we are all students, budget is also our consideration ($500 per person)
Also, is it better to drive from Montreal or shall we take train/bus?
Thanks!
Friends of mine and me are planning an extended hiking trip in the Rockies near Banff NP. We will be traveling by bus, and therefore need to plan our hiking route with the reachable trail heads/endpoints in mind.
Does anyone know of a map(!) which shows all the Greyhound bus stations and stops? So far we have only found a list of all stations (the names), which is of no use to us at all as we have no idea where these stations actually are...
