Are motor scooters plentiful for rent on Paros? Is an international drivers license needed for a scooter rental? Regarding electrical plugs. I have a European, round 2 pin plug, is this valid for use in Greece?
Scooters are plentiful on Paros and fairly cheap. I think I paid 8 euro/day in June for the least-powerful one with automatic transmission. Very easy to use. I'm pretty sure you'd have to leave your passport with them if you didn't have an IDL. You can take the scooter to Antiparos by going to the little ferry port of Pounta on the west end of the island. You and the scooter costs 2.5 euro for the 15 minute journey. The local ferry leaves every half-hour all day long. Your round 2-pin adapter is what you need in Greece.

Thanks for the information, it is greatly appreciated. Might get an Int'l DL however, as I don't relish leaving my passport with anyone.
