when does the snow stop

i am trying to plan a trip for early april 2006. can anyone tell me what the ski conditions are at that time of year? is there enough snow to have fun? thanks in advance.

    Most resorts try to stay open through Easter. Easter week is a significant part of their revenue. But of course, it really depends upon snow and temperatures. They can make snow if it's cold enough but if it's an unseasonably warm spring, the skiing will stink.
