Vavin Station to RER C

by MartyAP Online Now Aug 3, 2012 at 3:36 AM

OK.....thanks to your help we can make it out of CDG with our Museum Passes in hand and tickets for the Air France bus to Montparnasse. Looking at the Metro map we need RER C to get to Versailles during our stay. Am I correct that we take the #4 from Vavin to St. Michel where we change to RER C to Versailles?

That's the longest way but absolutely the easiest. I wish you glorious weather. Versailles is beautiful in the autumn. Try to get out to Marie Antoinette's Hameau, my favorite part of Versailles. It's great fun. Enjoy.

in October could be, I will be back....lived there for 9 yrs and love it. Its more than a palace, its a Domaine and then there is the royal town of Versailles. RER C trains on some wagons now they have it decorated in period customs for the summer do not know if in october it will continue. IF you go by the Hameau as beausoleil said, it is 5 mins walking from my house as of september, its for sale close by sept 14 lol!!!
