Hi, I am staying at a hotel in Paris next to Malakoff station need to get to CDG airport for a 9am flight to London. What is the best way to get there either by rail or shuttle bus in order to cach my flight on time. Thanks heaps for any responses. Nix
9 am for the flight 7 am you have to be at the airport if you take public transport, a little bit too just it better to take taxi ( approximately 30-35 € from your hotel to CDG ), more convenient, less tired for you

i would agree with previous poster, knowing that you may have luggage to carry too. you will have to change metro/RER to get to CDG, very tiring too in addition to the time limitation.traject is over an hour. Taxi should be around 45€ but also will be rush hour time so be early on pickup. hope it helps

if you could, do the check-in on line the day before, you can save time also if you had baggage.

OK, someone had to say it so I'll be the one. The way I see it, assuming you're going to London proper, you'll be there about 11 AM after a 9 AM flight. In order to get to airport in Paris by 7 AM, you'll need to leave your accommodation around 6 AM. A train from Paris to London takes roughly three hours so why not save the tons of hassle involved in a flight and relax on the train? Plus, you'll get an extra hour-and-a-half of sleep :). If you're committed to flying, then tips above are very valid. Myself, though, being a total cheapskate, would just get up a little earlier and take the train to CDG (though if you have a lot of luggage that might not be so much fun).

Thanks guys for ur responses. I would have preferred the train but flying was so much cheaper. This is pretty much the same i found for all trips around Europe. Most expensive is the train followed by plane then bus. I am going to cough up a bit more and catch a taxi. In future I will make sure I choose a later flight.. Cheers Nic

Hi, If you can afford the taxi, it is easier but if you can't I would go for the metro + bus or taxi + bus : you can take Air France Bus at Etoile metro station ( exit Avenue Carnot ). At htis time of the day, no traffic jam, you can 1 hour and half max to go. regards
