Corpus Christi

by Nemorino Online Now May 17, 2012 at 8:42 AM

Is June 7 a public holiday in France? It is in Germany (Fronleichnam = Corpus Christi) but I seem to recall that in France it is just a normal working day. Or am I confusing it with something else?

No Don, no holiday. We have the Monday 28th May for our "Pentecote" and the one after that is the 14th July.

Thanks. I thought one of them was, but wasn't sure which. We also have Pentecost Monday as a public holiday here in Germany -- lots of holiday weekends this time of year!
