Any affordable options out there for the following: My fiancé and I will be in Paris in October for our honeymoon. We would like to capture some of the memories with a professional/semi-professional photography shoot. Nothing too formal - maybe a 2-3 hour session near some of the major sites. I have checked a number of webistes and exchanged emails with a few photogs. Everything thus far is very expensive. Any links, contacts, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated!!
Here's a Do It Yourself alternative. Samsung has several digital cameras (Samsung ST700, PL170, PL120) with a front LCD so you can see the composition as you take a picture or movie of yourselves with the Eiffel Tower or Montmartre in the background. For reviews of the Samsung cameras, see www.dpreview.com/products/samsung/cameras Then post process the pictures with something like Topaz Labs Black & White Effects photoshop plug-in (www.topazlabs.com/bweffects) for that old school analog film feeling. I converted most of my pics from Paris to black and white for that moody feeling. Congrats and have the best time in Paris.

This may sound a little crazy, but my husband/I are photographers who will be on vacation in Paris for a couple of weeks in October.
