Hi! We are a family of four who will travel from Perugia to the Amalfi Coast, but we plan to quickly visit Naples and Pompei. We will be travelling by car at this point. Any recommendations on where to stay? In Naples, closeby?? In large cities, I prefer taking public transportation, so a hotel or apartment close to bus or metro stops would be interesting for us. Thanks!

am looking for the name of a store where i purchased something last week. was on the main street where all the shops are. past church, another little plaza was enclosed on the right side. there were some inside shops. am looking for one in particular called i believe "abliagmento almalfi" Not sure about name. burgundy shopping bag. sells jeans, calvin klein clothes both for men and women. Hope you can help me out
We are arriving on a cruise to Naples and wasnt to go to Herculaneum. Is it eady to get to?? The tour from the boat starts at 1.30 -5.00 and the ship leaves at 6, but do not want to waste a day waiting for a tour. Woudl be good to do an early tour and then walk around Naples then back to the ship. Ideas????
Hi I would like to take a day trip to Agropoli and then Pasteum the third week of June 2013. My family and I will be based out of Sorrento. What is the most efficient way to get from Salerno to Agropoli and then to Paestum?
hello, we will be traveling from Rome via train to Naples and then on to Minori. We would love to take a ferry for the last leg. Is this possible? Is it easy from the Napoli train station?
Any help would be appreciated. we will be traveling on a weekday -midday in July.

We are holidaying in Sant'Agnello just outside Sorrento again this year. Last year my son was desperate to go up Vesuvius but we just didn't have time. How do we get there (we are staying close to the Circumvesuviana rail line) and have absolutely got to do it (we promised). Our children will be 10 and 7. Any ideas?
