I will be on Oceania cruise docking in Parati on feb. 14. How do I get to Charadaco beach - not walking. can i get a boat easily and cost. Is snokeling good? How long a trip?

You may reach Cachadaço by trekking or boat. The best way is boat since Cachadaço is 24km far from Paraty. There is some restriction in going for a dip in Cachadaço since you may find some strong flows and whirlpools in water. paratytours.com.br/ingles.as... There are some snorkeling places near Paraty. I will list them: * Ilha do Breu * Enseada do Pouso da Cajaiba Both are reached by boat but it's a long trip. You may surf in Praia do Cepilho as well. Praia do Cepilho is near Praia do Cachadaço. That beach can be reached by trail (a bit long) or by boat. I'm sure there will be plenty of schooner tours on offer when the cruise ship arrives. These day tours are not very expensive.
