Does anyone know if there are local buses running from Parati to Guaratinguetá? If not, what is the best way to get there and what would it cost? I need to get there on Wednesday morning (April 6th)...

Yes there is a bus company doing this route : Empresa de Ônibus São José - (012) 532-3666 Ligação com as cidades de Guaratinguetá , Cunha, Ubatuba e Parati.

According to the site below, only bus company "São José" goes from Paraty to Guaratinguetá (scroll down the page): paratyvirtual.com.br/onibus.... The bus departs at 07h30 AM and 06h30 PM. For more info such as prices, you should call the bus company. "São José" phone number in Paraty: (24) 3371-1277
