Atlantis Resort Meal Plans

by utwofan Online Now Apr 17, 2009 at 5:19 PM

We are planning a trip in June but are confused about the meal plans. Different web sites indicate different restaurants under the regular or gourmet plans. Our main question is if eating at other than a buffet, is there a special menu at the restaurants for those opting for the meal plan or is it a choice of any one entre' from their regular menu? Also, for anyone that has used a meal plan do you have any advice as to best times or particular restaurants to concentrate on using? One more question on the meal plans, is the charge for the meal made to your room then deducted at checkout or no indication made on your bill at all whether you used it or not? Thank you in advance for your reponse.

Hi Choose the gourmet meal plan. It has the most choices. From personal experiene, dinner at D'Angelos alone was250 for 2 people, no dessert, just entrees, salad and drinks. Marketplace and Seagrapes are buffet restaurants and both have excellent, extensive food choices. Not sure if Nobu is included in the meal plans, but it is Japanese and was my least favorite. food was average and portions were very small, prices very high. Another restaurant is Seafire Grill on the harbor. It has excellent steaks with huge portions albeit very pricey as well. Your best bet is to go to the atlantis website and look at the meal plan directly. Have a great time. Debbi Wallace.
