hello, I will be going on the disney wonder in Novermber 04 to the Bahamas my mother is handicap . does anyone know if there is any handicap transportation from the ship to Atlantis that would be able to accomodate a motorized scooter???? Please help !! Thanks
I haven't seen any special handicap taxis in the few days I was at Nassau last year. Normally you have to go down the pier to get transportation, but I noticed some of the cruiseliners had organised bus transportation to/from the ships. The Disney organisation should be able to tell you, if handicapped transportation can be organized. The Nassau taxi's are either cars, mini vans or limo's. Also there are horse drawn carriages. Most excursions to Paradise Island go by ferry. PJ
