Hello there. Im a bduget traveler whos got a few free days to goto Port Moresby. I was just wondering if anyone knows any hotel/hostel for budget travelers. Something between 20-70 as i got no chance of ever paying more than100 a night in a place likr Port Moresby and all the google searchs are pointing to places100+
I stayed in the more expencive accomodation when I was there. It does provide a lot of security, but that costs. However, I found out (later) that there's a lot of cheaper stuff available. If you can get hold of the latest Lonely Planet guide they give a lot of places there. Port Moresby is very spread out and getting around isn't so easy. But if you do your research before hand and work out what you want to see and do, it will work out much easier. It is a very interesting place and worth visiting. In fact, most of PNG is great.
