I'm looking to rent a furnished villa or apartment around Kato Paphos from the 23/9/13 to 23/12/13. The agents I've tried want to rent for 12 months or by the week, which is too expensive. I'm looking for 2/3 bedrooms with pool, and would consider all areas around Kato Paphos except Universal. My budget is up to 650 euros per month. Occupants are all pensionable age, so no noisy parties, myself and wife would be there all the period, and we're fit. With visits from relatives steep hills and steps could be a problem for one visitor, but not insurmountable. Anyone need to let out their property?

To take a Taxi it will be too expensive for me,they ask 130 euro for just 1 way !

Dear all, in August I'll be flying to Paphos with my wife and we will stay in Capital Coast Resort in Paphos. We would like to go with motorbike or car (it depends if we will be able to find at least a 200cc scooter to rent) around the island, and I would like to pay a visit to Kyrenia / Girne in a day tour. Do you know if it is possible to cross the border in Nicosia or nearby to go to Kyrenia with a rented car/scooter? I read about insurances not valid, bargains at borders and so on. Having lived in Corfu for 5 years and experienced the very wet winter climate, we were thinking of going to Paphos for a month this year. Although have visited Cyprus many times, never at this time of year. Went once one February for six weeks and the weather was very mixed (didn't spoil it though). Can anyone tell us please if things are open December/January and if we go self-catering will we be able to book somewhere to eat over the festive season (not worried about English food - prefer Cypriot). Any help and guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance

hi looking go to paphos staying in kato paphos area can anyone tell me what is average price or meal and pint in resturants and food in supermarkets.just come back from tenerife and average pint was 1euro50 and can of coke 1euro 50 in pubs and 0.30cents for own brand beer(330ml can) and 0.60cents for 2litre of own brand pop in supermarkets and half rost chicken bout 5euros 50 in resturants are the prices smillar or bit more expensive.any info be much appreciated

hi going to paphos for a wedding in august 2010 we are staying in apts new york i have been told that they are near bar street if that helps anyone, the wedding is somewhere near the harbour area about a mile to mile and a half away. would like to know which bus to catch and when they run and when they stop and the cost. many thanks for any help you can give. ps in case we miss last bus does anyone know the rates that taxis use are they a set fee per mile as in the uk?

Hi everyone..im going to Paphos at the end of november/first week of december for a week with my boyfriend. Hi, My friend is getting married at the Athena Beach Hotel next year and I am wondering if anyone could give me advice on any hotels nearby to this one and of varying buget requirements, quite a few friends are keen to attend the wedding but are lookign for cheaper accomodation. If anyone knows of any could you please let me know and roughly how close they are to the Athena Beach. I myself will be taking my baby - at the time of the wedding she will be 11 months so need a hotel that caters for children. Thanks K

The address of Paphos bus station is Karavelle, but i cant see it on a map, is it down by the harbour near Posidhonos ?. Also do the minibus taxi express leave from Karavelle ? Hope someone can help . Thanks.
