Question about itinerary (end of June)

Hello, I will be leaving in two weeks for Panama. I am spending at least two nights in Panama City and then have about three nights somewhere else before heading to Costa Rica. Bocas del Toro seems nice, but it seems it has been raining every day. I am traveling solo and I do not mind long bus rides. I am wondering what would be a good place to visit. Also, any advice on the weather would be nice. I presume every day it will rain a little bit.
