I am staying in Sa Coma I would like to travel to Palma how do I get there? Also how close is marine land to Palma?

My husband( who has mobility problems and uses a walking stick) and I will be taking a Western Mediterrannean cruise leaving Rome and visiting Genoa, Provence (Marseilles), Barcelona, Palma De Mallorca and Valencia in Spain and back to Rome. When the ship docks, our time is limited when visiting these cities/towns.
I am also hard-pressed for time to do my own homework what with all the packing and medical appointments for the 2 of us,hence would appreciate any suggestions as to how we could go about and see some of the sights or town.
We don't have to do the must-see places unless it is really accessible by public transport as we are not taking the shore excursions from the ship as they are really astronomical in price and have been very disappointing.
1) Would appreciate info on how to get to nearest public transport station be it bus/metro from cruise terminal.(even if possible whether there are free shuttles from the berth to entrance of cruise terminal as that would save us walking the distance)
2) We don't even mind walking around town just enjoying the ambience so long as we can get reasonable and frequent public transport services back to cruise terminal.
Would appreciate any kind of help asap as we are leaving in a ffew days' time

My wife and I are moving to Mallorca in early April 2013 and are looking for a rental property until late October 2013. We've found a few through some online real estate sites though I feel there's more out through private rental and are just not advertised. It's a big ask considering you don't know me from a bar of soap, though maybe someone knows of an apartment/house that might be available for this period? We have a budget of no more then 500 euros a month, not a great deal though I'm surprised at what you can get for that amount in Spain. Besides our budget the only other request is to be close to the sea :) I hope I'm not asking too much but any help at all would be fantastic !

We are a family with two younger teenage girls. We're going to Mallorca in a couple of weeks. We are well aquainted to Palma and we have a car. We enjoy shopping and good food, but we are quite unexperienced when it comes to which places to visit/drop in to.. I have read that these areas are beautiful. We are not sure where to stay. We like a nice beach, shopping and going out for dinner. We are in our 40's and like going out for drinks but not with college kids. Hotel or apartment recommendations would be great too.

Anybody stayed at the Aparthotel Sa Punta de S Estanyol? Lots of very different reviews on tripadvisor, don't quite know what to think... We are traveling with 3 kids, ages 2,4, and 6 months... Other recomondations for good places on Mallorca is very welcome. Thanks for any replies

Is it worth going to Formentor beach for the day from Palma, and how long would it take to get there...and how. Also wanted to see the Cala Deia beach, can this be done as a day trip from Palma, or is it worth staying in Deia overnight? Are there buses that go to Deia from Palma? I will be going in June, will the weather be warm at that time of year? Any recomendations on where to stay in Palma? Thank you all! :)

I'm not looking for seering hot sunshine weather as I know I won't get this in Majorca at this time of year but, does anyone know what the weather is like generally? When at the wharf where Cruises desembark for a day, can we get on the Tour Double decker bus, How far is the site to embark on the bus from where the cruiseship will be ?

Next year we will be flying into Palma de Mallorca and would like to stay in a moderate priced hotel between the airport and cruise port where we are going to board a ship for a week. After the cruise, again, we are staying for a couple of days in Palma then take the plane back home. Please let us know how far apart are these ports (airport/cruise port) and how much a taxi would run. Also, please advise what the best and most convenient location of a hotel would be without spending too much money. We are 2 old retired couples and need two rooms with breakfast. Can anyone let me know if there is cycling route from Magaluf to Golf Son Vida? I am a 50 year old who is in fair to good physical condition. I have four days of golf in Son Vida in early September and would like to cycle to and from Magaluf. Is this reasonable? Are there any nasty climbs? I have been on extensive road trips before but they were a few years back. I would appreciate any information. Thank you.

Currently I have no accomodation as i am traveling out to surprise my friends who will already be there, the accomodation I was looking at has now doubled in price since I booked my flights. Iam a 32 years old male, living in Spain, and recently divorced. Iam planning to go to Mallorca for the first time on the 10th of August, for 5 days, alone. My goal: Is to find a good Hotel/Resort, near the beach, and if possible with a good beach club nearby (like Nikki Beach or Puro beach) with a good vibe, and with people from the 25 to the 40´s (mostly women). With a good nightlife nearby, good bars and clubs, not something with teenagers drunked. I don´t mind to be on a place with Scandinavians, British, or German, in fact, i would prefer that. I heard about Magaluff, Palma Nova and Arenal. Any of these is good? There are more touristic areas? I don´t mind to spent some extra €, to have more quality. Thanks in advance. Best Regards
