Single female traveling in Palestine

Hello! I am a Canadian female planning to continue my study of Arabic at Birzeit University this summer (2013). Does anybody have any advice regarding my intention to undertake this trip? Would it be safer for me to study at the U of Jerusalem or U of Tel Aviv, for example?

    in one word - "yes"
    The study level is absolutely different. And you have the option to travel freely inside Israel.
