We will be traveling to Palermo Sicily early next year, and would like to know the best way to get to the opere teater in the center of Palermo from the airport. We will be staying at the Hotel Garibaldi.

Palermo Centrale is a good hike from the Teatro Massimo opera house. The airport bus stops at the side of the theatre.

The best option for you is the bus. Departures from the airport terminal every half hour. Get off at the stop in front of Politeama Theatre (you can't miss it: large square with an Arc-de-Triomphe looking facade), Hotel Garibaldi is just at the corner. The bus ride lasts 40 minutes approximately, cost around 8 Euro. Have fun.
