    • Safety in Peshawar

      Peshawar Yesterday

I am from Russia and I plan to take a night bus from Lahore to Peshawar. This region is traditionally not very safe, to say the least. What about current situation there? Should I go there or should I keep away from there?

    • Trip to North Pakistan

      Pakistan Nov 19, 2015 at 9:42 PM

Travelling from Karachi to Rawalpindi in December and returning back to Karachi after a week or so. I want to know what are the kids friendly places to try in the North. We have tried Murree last time so don't want to do Murree again.

These are three options I am thinking of:
      1. Kalam - Malam Jabba
      2. Muzaffarabad
      3. Naran-Saif-ul-Muluk

Now keeping in mind december and heavy snow on the road which one do you guys see as the best thing to do?

My kids are young, what the are the options for kids?

Your help will be highly appreciated.

    • Driving in Pakistan

by zinwang1 Online Now Jun 24, 2015 at 6:57 AM

Anyone driven westwards lately from Lahore to Quetta and on to Tarfan? If so what are road conditions like and am I likely to need/be given some sort of escort? Is the route via DG Khan and Lorali advisable or is it better to go south to Sukkur and over the Bolan pass? I m from Argentina.

What about the road to Karachi, any issues about driving thru Sindh? The embassy thinks its perhaps not such a good idea but then thousands do it everyday and only a few wind up regretting it.

by magnanimuh Online Now May 18, 2008 at 5:42 PM

      Salam alikum to all,
i am an indian looking for help. i have been looking up the internet for some solutions and this was the closest i got to a forum where i could ask people for help.
      here is the situation:
i intend to marry a pakistani girl and i want my parents to go to the girls house with the marriage proposal. i do know that they cannot ask for a tourist visa and the relatives that i have living in pakistan do not stay in the city where the girls family is located, so even if they manage a visa to meet my relatives in pakistan i understand that they cannot visit the girls family. can anybody be helpful and offer me any solution as i really do want this situation to work out.

      Jazak allahu khaira.
