After I saw the posting about the fees charged at Paga Pio Palace, and as a citizen of the said locality, I contacted the Chief of Paga, Paga Pe Charles Awompaga about the said matter and he explained that chief palaces belong to all the people of the locality and any time any body sees a tourist, He/she charges for the tour of the palace without any approbation. Pe Awompaga would like tourists to make official arrangement for tour of the Palace in Future to avoid unathorized charges.
How does one make an 'official arrangement" for a tour of the Palace? You did not give direction on how to do this. Where should one go? Who is the authorized person to make these official arrangement? Does the person have a rank, name, office or place where they can be met for such an arrangement? Should we expect an offical receipt?
Thank you for your obvious concern, but a little more detail from the Chief of Paga, Paga Pe Charles Awompaga would be helpful.
