Oxford/Bicester to Heathrow airport

by exlibero Online Now Nov 2, 2010 at 2:16 AM

I would be around Oxford on Thurdsay(4/11/2010)and I thought of doing some shopping at the Bicester village mall. However it does seem quite inconvenient to get from there to the Terminal 1 of the Heathrow airport.
Does anyone have an advice what would be the quickest way?
Thanks

You may want to look at:

    nationalexpress.com/coach/in...

National Express has route from Bicester to Heathrow bus station via Oxford where you change bus. All could be booked in advance. But the entire journey including change takes nearly 3 hours.

Depending on the time of your flight it may be the easiest way.

The two railway stations in Bicester are certainly convenient to the Bicester Village mall - Bicester Town is the station to where the trains from Oxford run and it is only a short walk (400 metres or so) from the mall. The stations apparently have signs in Japanese to aid the large number of visitors from that country!

    Train timetable is here
