Rental bikes

Hi, i'm going to Oxford for 2 weeks and I'm staying with a guest family. They live outside the city center and since everyone seems to ride on bikes in Oxford,i was wondering whether it's a good idea to rent a bike? And does anyone no any bike rental companies... Thanks for the tips Hannah

    One or two hire places here: dailyinfo.co.uk/guide/shoppi... Up to you whether you want to hire one though. Depends on how confident a cyclist you are, and how far out your friends live. Buses and walking will be just as good, if you don't fancy dealing with the traffic.
