How long to travel by bus from ouarzazate to essouira via agadir or via tiz'n'tiska pass if possible? Thank you if you can help.
I've done this, going the other way and remember it as a lot of bus time. I went via Taroudant & Taliouine. Ouarzezate to Taroudant added up to about seven or eight hours on the bus, Tarudannt to Agadir a couple of hours & Agadir (where I only spent time in the bus station) to Essaouara was three or for hours in a grande taxi. So unless you really ar hammering it you'll need to break the journey: I'd advise Taroudannt rather than Agadir. Much more Moroccan.

Thinking about it, going via Marrakesh is much much quicker. Maybe five on the bus to Marrakesh and three or four to Essoara. I don't know which pass that goes throgh , but it's certainly a spectacular ride as far as Marrakesh (and totally unspectacular to Essouara (done this as well)

Don't understand why you want to go by Agadir, unless you have business their otherwise take the senic route, Tizi'n'Tichkla pass over the high Atlas Mountains to Marrakech the trip will take about 4 hours. From Marrakech you get another bus to Essaouira about 3 hours. Going via Agadir is longer. Agreed. And your bus times are a bit less than mine...that's CTM for you. I don't think Ive ever travelled CTM: they always seem to leave or arrive at stupid times.

I have travelled all over Morocco with CTM and they are reliable but some routes are silly I have to agree. example. Marrakech to Essaouira very popular with tourist but so few CTM buses and going and at silly times. With a trip taking only 3 hours one way you could quite easily have 4-5 buses a day going back and forwards.

Forgot to mention, if you do pass through Marrakech with CTM makes sure you use the new Bus Station for CTM buses only. You will find the address for the new bus station on my Transport Tips pages in Marrakech.
