Travelling with kids

Any suggestions for a good, reasonably priced hotel. We are travelling with 2 small kids (3 years and 1 year). Only need it for two nights. The Travellodge has a water park which sounds great but the reviews were not so good..

I'm no expert in the value segment hotels in Ottawa (you tend to not know the hotels in the city where you live). I just wanted to suggest that that you understand that the Travelodge is not exactly in the most convenient location - it's in the Carling & Kirkwood area. It is in the western part of the city, some distance away from the main attractions that most visitors want to see (i.e. the downtown area). Limited places to eat at in the immediate area too.

For the 3 year-old you are about a 5 minute drive from the Agriculture Museum and the kids might enjoy seeing all of the farm animals there. Downtown is not all that far away, but you will still have the hassle of finding a place to park, etc. etc.
