We plan on attending an evening play at the Minack Theatre, which I believe is near Penzance, but have booked a self-catering cottage in Port Isaac. Since the play will be getting out later in the evening and we are both unfamiliar with the local roads, as well as unaccustomed to driving on the left hand side of the road, we thought it wise to book one night nearby the Minack Theatre. Would anyone have a suggestion as to what would be a reasonable and relatively safe route and hotel to stay at for an overnight?? Thank you!
Hello, I was planning on renting a car in Mansfield heading to Liverpool Airport for a 4:35 PM Ryanair flight on a Wednesday. Google maps says the trip is 2 hour 10 minutes long. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
I am looking to visit this location and would like to know the actual location address and which Tube stop closest to the old Dollis Hill bunker. Any other comments are welcome.
Thank you in advance.
What to carry?: Going to Newbury for 1 year from India with family
Could anyone recommend a busy town (that has character and some independent shops rather than usual high street shops) and a reasonably priced B&B/hotel (not a chain hotel) that is close to get to from train station in West Yorkshire from London whilst visiting other tourist attractions like Bronte Parsonage? Thanks.
I will be staying in London during March, but will be going to Rugby for a few days. What is the best and cheapest way to travel from London to Rugby and return? Is it better going by train or coach? I don't have the exact hours I want to travel, but I know I will need to go to Rugby on March 4th and return to London on March 9th. Is it better to order a return ticket from the start or each way seperately? What about where to buy the ticket, is it best to do it beforehand on the internet or just buy the tickets when I am travelling? Would a coach be cheaper than train? Are there any cheaper options? Besides that, I would need to go from Rugby to Birmingham and return and from London to Wareham, Dorset. What are my cheapest travel options?
Hi! i will be in London next week and have been hearing news of an impending transit strike. I am looking to hire a taxi ahead of time to ensure that I will be able to get to the airport for my flight home but I am wondering how much time I should allow tfor travel and traffic to ensure that i will make my flight. I will be staying in Covent Garden and my flight departs at 10:30 am. I appreciate any insight that can be offered. Cheers.
In Wales for 5days then driving via west Coast to Penzance. We are walking part of the South West Coast Path ending in Falmouth on Sat 6 th June 2015. We need to be at Heathrow on Mon 8th.
We would like some ideas on where/how to spend these 2 days making our way back to the airport. We will not have a car. We are not keen to spend 7 or 8 hours in a train or bus to London so thought we could see something interesting in the country instead. Had a quick look at Salisbury but weren't oversold on it. ( or maybe it was a poor website). Have previously been to Bath, Windsor etc.
Grateful once again for any suggestions.
What is the best way to get cheap theater tickets in London? Four of us from Canada plan to visit in May and want to see a play or 2 while there but don't want to pay exorbitant prices by booking seats a head of time. Any suggestions or tips on how to get good cheap seats?
