transport from Sanandaj to Kermanshah via Howraman valley
1. Is this feasible in one day, if leaving early and arriving late?
2. How to do it best? Is it possible to hire a taxi or 4WD from Sanandaj to Kermanshah, which would go through Howraman, with a few stops along the road? Only the "easy" route via Dalani/Nosud or also the more difficult (and more spectacular?) road through Howraman-at-Takht?

I am hoping to find a local guide who can show me traditional villages in Gilan. I am interested in villages that do not fill with tourists or have hotels. I hope to find villages that still have traditional activities such as raising sheep, goats and cows, bake bread locally, weaving, spinning and knitting of wool. If I can find a suitable village and a family, I would like to arrange for a reasonably priced a homestay. I have a Shenasnameh and Carte Milli, speak basic Persian, am very familiar with Persian culture and a mature older woman. Is it possible to visit Masuleh in one day from Tehran and come back? How long would it last in one direction? Does anyone know agency that runs such daytrip? If not, is there decent accomodation ? Thanks Ron
