Hi, I will be visiting Norway in June for 2.5 days. I would tour in Oslo for 1 Day and would like to make the most of remaining 1.5 days. Is it possible to make a round trip to one of the Glaciers in Norway in 1.5 days - i.e. Return Journey from Oslo to a Glacier. Any advise or details regarding transportation and accommodation will be very helpful. Thanks
Hi. If everything goes well, I will be arriving in Oslo on the 13th and leaving on the 17th on May. I will arrive on the Moss Airport Rygge. What is the best and cheapest way to go to Oslo? Since this will be my first time in Oslo, what should I visit? What I can't miss? Is there anything I should avoid? Thanks! Best Regards, Pedro.
Hi. I will arrive in Oslo on the 13th of May and leaving on the 17th. Since I will be traveling alone, I need a cheap place to stay for 4 nights. I prefer a single room instead of a share room in a Hostel. What places do you recommend? Thanks! Best Regards, Pedro.
What is the time and distance from the Radisson SAS Hotel and the Fram museum? We fly into Oslo at noon. Would we have time in the afternoon to visit the museum? Thanks.
Hello, I'm going to Oslo in 2 weeks for Syttende Mai. I am a collector of vintage scandinavian and Viking-design-inspired jewelry. Can anyone recommend places where I might be able to find such jewelry? I know David-Anderson has Oslo locations, but I'm less interested in new D-A jewelry and more interested in vintage items that are likely to be used. Thank you for any info you may be able to provide! Dawn
Hi guys, I'm planning to spend some days in Oslo in August, but I noticed that hotel room fares are quite high, at least in the city centre. Are there any alternative places a bit off Oslo to stay that are not so expensive with a resonable quick and cheap connection to the city? Tobias

I am planning to come to Oslo during easter break and am looking for a cheap hotel/b&b. I will arrive and depart from Airport Rygge early morning so I think a hotel in and around that area would be cheaper and convenient. What do you think? Can you suggest me some cheap accommodation around the airport? Thanks!
I'll be in Oslo for 3 days in April. Is there a kind of transit pass I can get that will make the public transit cheaper than just paying for each bus/tram/metro separately ?
Hi, I will be travelling to Oslo in April and would like to know if I will be able to cover the main attractions in Oslo in two days. I will arrive in Oslo from Bergen at 6.26am. Then check into a hostel and will start my tour (half day). My next day will be a whole day (1 day) for Oslo and will leave Oslo for Stockholm on the next day on the 15.49pm train (half day). Please advise me if it is a good plan for my visit to Oslo. Thank you.
Dear friends, I hope you can assist me :-) I'd love to visit Oslo and I plan to come on April 1st and will return April 5th. I heared Oslo is quite expensive. Hi everyone, my husband and I are hoping to visit Oslo in July/August this year. I'm just wondering is it an easy city to navigate with a 1 and a half year old baby in tow? What's the public transport like? Also would 4 or 5 days be enough to do the city justice? Finally I'm just wondering if it would be possible to do a day trip to a nearby fjord to get a taste of the countryside!? Since I read Roald Dahl's auto-biography as a kid, I've always fancied a boat trip around one!! Thanks for your help....
i want to travel from oslo to tromso by buss or train please show me the way in details
Will have an evening, a day and a morning free in Oslo. Could possibly add another day, but will be relying on public transport. What would be the top 5 reccomended experiences in or around Oslo? We like museums, art, cultural/regional or historical experiences- well just about anything, but hiking and skiing will not be possible on this trip. What will the weather be like in May? Any suggestions for a reasonably priced place to stay? Not fancy, just easy access to public transportation, clean, comfortable, and a good place for one to hang out while the other is tied up on business. Thanks so much!
Hi, It will be helpful to know: 1. Any train or Airport bus details from Airport to City Centre. 2. I am visiting Oslo for a fair at Lillestrom. What is the best way from city centre (Parkveien) to Lillestrom. Any important information for first time traveller will be helpful. Best regards, Malayanil
Hi, My partner and I are flying into Oslo on Friday 8th and staying 'til Sunday 10th (my Christmas present ;) ). We know quite a lot of what we're going to do but we're wondering which of the ticket deals on the www would be best for us? Friday we're flying in to Torp on Ryanair. We know there's a bus (Torp Express) connected with the Ryanair flights, that would take us all the way to central Oslo (we're staying at the Plaza). However, for reasons I won't bore you with (I can if you want ;) ), we're getting off the bus at Drammen and taking the train into Oslo S. Saturday we're intending to spend the day skiing at Tryvann; the Tryvann website advises taking T-banen Line 1 to Voksenkollen and then the Skibus. ... aside question here - aiui, Tryvann opens at 10:00; as we're hiring skis, etc., if we arrive earlier, is the hire shop open earlier? Sunday, we're flying out of Torp. Not sure whether to get the Torp Express bus all the way from Oslo to Torp or take the train and airport link bus? We've read about the Oslo Pass but is this going to be the best deal for us, given that we won't have much, if any, time to take advantage of free entry to museums, etc.? Tia for any help, advice, etc. Regards,
Hello all! I am visiting your beautiful city from the 30th of December to 4th of January and am really looking forward, but I have a few questions I hope someone could help me with. Also, what do Norwegians wear during the cold winter? We don't want to arrive looking like out of place naff tourists! any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Hello VT-family I am in the process for planning a trip to Oslo at the middle of September. For preparing my trip I would like to ask you some questions: - Can you recommend a good hotel in the centre of the city? - Do you know any good restaurants with acceptable prices? - Any tipps for nightlife? - What kind of sights are the most important to see? Any insider-tipps? - Things I have to know about the city? Thank you in advance for your help and have a good day…. Take care Oliver
Hello. I'm going to Norway this October and I'll need an Hotel in Oslo for the first night, near the train station, because in the next day early in the morning I'm catching the train to Flam. I saw the Oslo Budget Hotel... is that a bad hostel? I think is near the train station. The last 2 nights of my trip I'll go back to Oslo and I would like to stay in a nicer hotel but not expensive (not more than 1000 Nok). Thank you in advance.
