I have 2 full days in Oslo. Any suggestions on what to cover? =) Staying near Central station - I heard everything is walkable? Thanks!

Oslo is very walkable. It depends on your interests, but there are more than enough museums in Oslo to fill a week. Vigeland Park might be a bit far to walk (i did it). I highly recommended walking up the Akerselva River park. There are some funky cafes and such, but the building here are what "built" Oslo. Plus there are no tourists. Akershus Slott (Oslo Fort) is cool too. Google "Oslo Card" (the site was down when i wrote this answer. There are plenty ideas on the site, plus the Oslo Card will save you money on any transport needs and museum entrances. joestrippin.blogspot.com/201...

When are you coming over to Oslo? I am staying near Oslo in Ski for a couple of months and have been to Oslo 3 times now and am going there again tomorrow. The weather has been cold and wet, so I haven´t covered much, just been wandering around the city. The best page on Oslo here in my opinion is "Hildeal"s page, she lives here. Look her up.

Do go to the Vigeland Sculpture Park1 It is an amazing place. Many acres with life size sculptures of people. They are bronzes throughout the park and also a mound covered in Statues made of granite. Go early to catch the best light and avoid the crowds! Check my travel pages on Oslo for more photos. also, there is a folk museum which contains many buildings from acoss Norway. a fascinating place but you can't get there on foot because it's just outside the city.
