Hi, i am a solo traveller. Need help to make a safe itinerary to explore the best beaches in Costa Rica, preferrably on the Pacific Coast...for a week.

My two teenage boys and I are flying into San Jose early, 5am.We are planning on taking a shutttle to Monteverde but it doesn't look like it arrives at the airport until 8am.I know with the red eye flight we're
going to be trashed and hungry.What would be our best plan of action?

I'm looking for recommendations on how to get from La Fortuna/Arenal area to Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJ0) early enough to catch an 11:30am flight. Most shuttles I checked have the earliest departure leaving La Fortuna at 7:30am which is hardly enough time to catch my flight. Help!?

Am planning a trip to Costa Rica in October 2013. Would like to know best places to base my trip. Am interested in rain forests and all natural sights. I'm 67 so hiking, etc. is not an option but would love to take a Zipline above the forest). Any ideas on where to stay,etc. or any reliable travel agents is greatly appreciated.
