Staying at the Center Parcs Les Hauts de Bruyères

Hi, we are two families, 4 adults and three children aging from 1 ro 4 years, planning a stay in Chaumont-sur-Tharonne. We land and take-off at Paris and are looking for a 1 or 2 days trip somewhere on the way from Paris to Chaumont-sur-Tharonne. We are looking for a nice natural resort where we can either picnic, take a short hike in the woods, along a river, or around a lake, or enjoy other attractions. I'll be happy to receive some travel suggestions regards.
