I am visiting Florida shortly and do not wish to drive a car during the visit. To hire a taxi would be too expensive. Would you please tell me whether there is shiuttle bus service between Orlando and St.Pete's Beach? Any general information would also be appreciated. Many thanks
I haven't done this route in car, bus, train or plane but here is a link you might want to try. http://www.thefloridaexpressbus.com/ Depending on where you are staying in Orlando you are still going to have to get to the bus station and when you arrive in St Petersburg you are still probably not going to be all that close to the beach. Hopefully somebody with more knowledge of the Orlando and St Pete areas will have information in more detail for you.

I have stayed in St. Petersburg and driven daily to the Tradewinds in St. Pete Beach to teach a class, but did it with a car...the trip was 20 minutes(?) Anyway, the transit authority down there is http://psta.net/index.php and it looks like there are routes that connect the two cities...I don't know if this is the best solution from Orlando but it gives you a start...
