Kissimmee is a good place to stay. Cheaper and convenient. If I remember correctly, Highway 192 is central - can get anywhere, by car, from there.

My fmaily and I just got back from Orlando. The place that we stayed was really great. It's a vacation home in Vista Del Lago. Disneyworld is jusy 5 miles drive while other attractions are just close by.If you need further details about this just drop me a mail so i can give you the contact number of the owner

We have been renting private villas for the past few years and have found a great owner who has 2 villas with private pools close to Disney. He is very trustworthy and the villas have every luxury including private pool, free internet etc. The villas are exceptionally well maintained and spotless. Can be contacted at jimian@ntlworld.com

Why not rent a villa? You can cook many of your own meals, which saves a lot of money, and most are only a few miles from Disney and the attractions of Orlando and very reasonably prices. Plus you get your own pool. Some villas are priced from around £250 per week upwards. Have a look at www.just-florida-villas.co.uk and www.vrbo.com.
