Hey guys, I will be flying to India from Chicago next month via New York. Chicago to New York will be with JetBlue (booked full itinerary through Emirates). I have a 9 hrs. stopover in new York and would like to visit Manhattan.
Can anyone tell me what's the best thing to do with my bags in the meantime? I will have 2 checked and a carryon. Emirates guy over the phone told me I had to pick up my bags, go through security and finish customs and recheck in for Emirates flight. Has anyone gone through this process
I usually fly into LGA, but will be leaving out of EWR tomorrow night. I'm a cheapskate and prefer public transportation. I've read that bus #62 takes you from Penn station to EWR. Is that right? Any particulars I need to know? Where exactly do I catch it. How long can I reasonably expect it to take? My flight is at 7:45pm. Thanks!
I'm going to go to Paoli, PA from New York, NY with AMTRAK. The sign on the schedule says the train has no checked bags. But I have to bring my big bag because I will continue the trip (also with AMTRAK) to Washington DC then head home to Indonesia. Is it possible to just bring the luggage with me even if it says no checked bag?
We are going to be flying into Buffalo, NY and driving to Watertown, NY for a week's stay. What are the 'do not miss' places to experience along the way? Food, art, culture, etc. I'm from the west coast and would love to take home memories that are meaningful about New York state.
Hi guys! We'll be in Manhattan March30-April2 then NJ til the 4th and Long Island til April 7. I know this week is the official Spring time but was wondering if there are areas near the places i mentioned that we can see some decent snow? Not really for skiing but where my 4 yr old can play and experience it? Blame it on the movie Frozen she's been asking to see snow and we live in a tropical country! Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
