I am traveling Oregon in December and wanted to know what to expect for early December weather wise. I would like to know if I should expect snow in these areas, whether there is any access to Crater Lake from the south at that time. I have tourist guides but I can't find anything specific for my timing. Any response is greatly appreciated.
If there is not snow, it will most likely be rather cold, especially in K Falls. High temps will normally be in the 30's or low 40's. Crater Lake will most likely be closed then as well. It usually closes in November b/c the snows get too deep to maintain the roads.

Thanks for the link as it has so much helpful information. I have visited my son in Portland many times when he was at school. Now that he & his girlfriend are permanent residents of Portland I am eager to visit other areas with them while scouting for a new homestead.
