Origin of the name L G Smith Blvd

Hi, Can anyone please tell me who "L G Smith Blvd" was named after? I get this question many many times on my travels to Aruba.

    looked it up via Bing and saw that Lloyd Gaston Smith was born May 27, 1891 and was sent to Aruba from the states to select a site for the Aruba Refinery/Lago Oil Co. Lots of personal info there if you want more info.....

    Lloyd Gaston Smith was general manager and later president of Lago Oil and Transport Company Ltd refinery on the Island of Aruba from though the 1930s till 1946. There is a more detailed account of his life on the Lago colony web page Lhttp://lago-colony.com/ago
    He was also my grandfather.
