I basically have hardly even been out of my own state as far as travel. Now I am going to Ochos Rios for my honeymoon in Late May, early June. I am really looking forward to it but have lately read a lot about the crime rate and scary roads. Can anyone tell me if these concerns are valid and if the road from the airport in Montego to Ochos Rios is scary to travel? Thanks!!
I was wondering if anyone ever stayed at Couples Ochos Rios for their honeymoon? I just wanted to get the feel of the place before we got there. Anything anyone can tell me about the place, would be wonderful. Thanks to all that answer!
I am interested in staying at the Renaissance Grande but would appreciate some 'real' feedback...reading the reviws on the other sites gets confusing...If you've stayed at this hotel before, what did you think? did you have fun? was it 'nice'? Thanks!
My family and our neighbors are going on a cruise in a couple of months on RCI line. We are going to Ochos Rios and have already done the Dunn's River Falls. We want to go to a beach locally. Are there any that we could go to instead of having to book through the cruise line and how do we get their?
I WILL BE COMING TO YOUR ISLAND ON A CRUISE SHIP AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS AT THE PORT AND WILL I HAVE TO TRAVEL FAR FROM THE SHIP TO SEE WHAT THE ISLAND HAS TO OFFER. HOW CAN I GET INFORMATION ON WHERE WE DOCK AND WHAT IS AROUND THE PORT?
My husband and I are leaving for a cruise in two weeks. One of our stops will be in Ocho Rios. I'd like to explore the island a little without booking a shore excursion through the cruise line, but I'm wondering if that would be a good idea? Here are my questions: Is it safe to explore the island alone? Will we be able to access shopping and Dunn River Falls without taking a bus or taxi? Is there anything else that we should make sure to see? Any other comments/suggestions on anything? Thanks!
Has anyone stayed at and/or had or attended a wedding at Couples Resort Ochos Rios? If so, any feedback would be appreciated Thanks
