JUNE HONEYMOON

by Nyk061205 Online Now May 16, 2005 at 10:23 AM

My fiance and I are going to Sandals Ocho Rios for our honeymoon from the middle to the end of June. I see that this can be a rainy, but hot time of year. How does this affect going in the ocean and pool? Are we going to be "rained out" and have to stay inside all day? Thank you!!!

June marks the beginning of the "rainy season" - but don't expect a lot of rain. Was there twice in June, and there were brief rains a couple of days. They didn't last long, and of course, the rain in the tropics is warm.... so if you're on the beach or in the water - it's not really necessary to seek shelter at all. Later into the hurricane season - in September and October - the rain can be more frequent and heavier if storms come near Jamaica. But, you should enjoy June. JPL
