What should I pack for a trip to Oceanside? We are staying in a beach house and will arrive the 18th of watch and plan to stay a week.
A swimming suit and shorts.

I don't know what the 18th of watch means, so don't know when you'll be in Oceanside. However, even if it is during the summer I'd suggest that you also bring long pants and a sweater/light jacket because it does cool a bit after the sun goes down and the ocean breeze comes in. Also, I'll mention that in the mornings we ususally have a thick marine layer so it will look as if it will be a cool day. Generally it is not. The marine layer is burned off by the sun by noon or so and the weather is warm. In any case, plan on layering your clothes so you can be comfortable as the day goes on.
