Need hotel near boardwalk, with pool ~$250 night

I'm looking for a hotel/suite/condo near the boardwalk, with a pool, for ~$250 per night, mid-July. Not a party hotel. Any info would be greatly appreciated. So far, the best I've found is the Howard Johnson's, which is on the beach for225-275 per night.
