I will be in Oaxaca shortly and need to purchase a low end dslr (preferably Canon) or high end point and shoot. Can anyone recommend a decent camera store or even a discount electronic place with a selection? Thanks, Lucifer
Lucifer, any chance to buy a camera before you get here? This is a terrible place to buy one -- limited selection and high prices. I have an inexpensive Samsung which needed work. I went to several camera & photo supplies places and they all recommended the same guy. I paid about 60 bucks to have a hundred dollar camera fixed ........ a hundred dollar camera that would cost about two hundred dollars in Oaxaca. Sorry, I know that's not very helpful and hope there is some solution.
