Oahu GO card

I will be travelling to Oahu for the first time for a week of vacation with family, just before thanksgiving. I was planning on buying the GO Hawai card for Oahu attractions. For one flat fee this card lets you do unlimited touristy stuff. I am not decided between the 3-day or 5-day purchase. Also there seem to be a lot of various guided tour attractions so I am not sure if I want to rent a car for the whole week or maybe only 3 days. Anybody have similar experiences to share, especially wih the GO card. Any other pointers tips are appreciated. Thanks in advance
