We would be staying at Grand Hotel. How far is Gregory Lake from the hotel ? Any other places within walking distance from this hotel ?

Hi there, I'd say a bit more than a km, just beyond the horseracing course. So well feasible. Grand is relatively central and Eliya town relatively compact, so you can also walk to most other points of interest. E.g. the golf course and the shops near the post office/bus stand. The walk from Grand Hotel to Lake Gregory is 2+ km.
