Water temperature

Anyone who knows the average water temp in the farth northern parts of Northland (as well as the Bay of Isands) in the NZ summer? Problems with sharks etc? Best Frederik

    The water temperature in NZ fluctuates but is generally around 21 degrees making it quite pleasant for swimming. Sharks are very rarely a problem in NZ. Cheers, Rhianon
